Make sure you visit the Edison Ford Winter Estates and see their homes, gardens, and laboratory. You'll likely enjoy the Imaginarium Hands-On Museum, the Calusa Nature Center and also the Naples Zoo .

Beaches

Sanibel & Captiva are considered the top shelling beaches in the world and offer magnificent sunsets. If you're looking for more of a party, be sure to check out Fort Myers Beach, there's several restaurants, tiki bars, souvenir shops and attractions to keep you busy.

Dining & Nightlife

For theatres, check out the Barbara B. Mann and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. If you're the gambling type jump on the Big M or visit the Seminole Casino. There's simply to many fine restaurants to mention, but you can find them here.

Hotels & Resorts

For resorts, The Naples Beach Hotel & Gulf Club and Coconut Point Resort Hyatt are our favorite resorts. We found the Southwest Florida Traveler.com web site to be very fast, simple and easy to use. It also gives room rates with a minimum of fuss on your part.

Shopping

Our favorites are the 2 new and very large malls, Coconut Pointe and the Gulf Coast Town Center. In addition there's the exotic Bell Tower Shops, Miromar Outlets with 140 stores, and the 400,000 sq. ft. Flea Masters to mention a few.
